How ridiculous!

A gentleman in Bedford in the UK lost his cat.

As many other people do in these circumstances he printed off some posters which he then went and tied around lamp-posts and trees.

He then got a phone call from the local council accusing him of causing "urban decay"

So he agreed to take them down but the next day he received a letter telling him he would receive a £1000 fine if not taken down by 9am on the 24th December.

As he didn't receive this letter until 20.30 on the 8th December he had to rush round at night to remove the posters.

How thoughtless of the council especially since many of them have not collected the rubbish over the holidays.

Hey will they be fined £1000?

Unfortunately the cat is still missing.

Joke for today:- The optimist says the glass is half full and the pessimist says the glass is half empty. The engineer says the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

On this day:-4th December

In 1643 Isaac Newton was born

In 1809 Louis Braille was born
