President Barack Obama's holiday

I see there is criticism in the press today about the cost of President Obama's holiday.

Apparently it has cost over £1 million for his Christmas break in Hawaii.

It has been suggested that he could have stayed at a nearby military base instead as Bill Clinton did.

Would you like to spend your Christmas at a military base?

For goodness give the man a break.

Whatever you may think of him as a man or his policies he has probably the most stressful job in the world so don't begrudge him the break which will recharge his batteries for the coming year.

Joke for today:- Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

House Prices

In today's paper it says that the "experts" expect house prices to carry on falling next year.

Interestingly in the same paper it is suggested that saving for a deposit to get on the housing ownership ladder could take 17 years and that one in six people will live to be 100.

So why then do mortgage lenders still insist on the average 25 year mortgage.

Those people in their 20's now will probably be working much longer than the current pension age as they are living longer so why doesn't a 40 year mortgage become common?

The would solve several problems at once.

Vince Cable

I see that Vince Cable the Liberal Democrat has put his foot in it.

Apparently he told two undercover reporters that he was going to attack RubertMurdoch's whole empire.

Obviously it was a silly thing to say to two young femail undercover reporters who were claiming to be members of his constituency.

However I don't like the way that reporters use entrapment in this way.

If a police officer was to do this then there would be eruptions from the liberal establishment.

It is frightening that free speech is being compromised in this way.

Thought for today: Is free speech still relevant in today's society?

Ouch that hurt

Hurt my back this morning. I'm not even sure how I did it as my back suddenly Jarred when

going out of the back door.

It is going to cause problems when I take Owen my excitable English springer spaniel for his

walk espcecially in this icy weather. I've taken him to two good trainers but I still have problems

with him pulling on the lead. He is a very good sniffer dog so gets really excited with all the

smells out there.

I'm still excited about the new systems being put into place with The Six Figure Mentors.

This will really take off. Go to my website. www.whoisjohnbeaumontcashmachine.com/bootcamp

Aqua Sheko

When I went to Westfields at Derby recently I was fascinated watching people having the dead

skin on their feet being eaten off by fish

No the fish aren't piranha but little Garra Rufa fish fron Kangal Lake in Turkey.

Apparently the fish therapy is a holistic treatment that gives a smooth overall glow.

I think I will pass especially since I have terrible nails on my large toes caused by football

injuries.

Christmas Presents

Because of the bad weather we have had recently many Christmas presents ordered on line are held up in courier warehouses as deliveries have been difficult.

My son Chris works for a well known courier company and they have been on the receiving end of many irate customers.

Unfortunately there is little they can do except axcept the abuse!

Chris then comes home and helps me with my internet business www.johnbeaumontcashmachine.com/bootcamp so he gets very tired.

House Prices etc.

Had a grin to myself when I saw the headline of the Daily Express yesterday.

They stated that house prices had risen in the UK by £5000 over the past year. Then they had

an article about how interest rates could rise shortly. First the good news then the bad! Talk

about "softening us up"!

A Carol Service

Last night I was invited to a carol service by The Loughborough Students Union.

It was held at a local church and was brilliant. There must have been well over a
hundred young people there and the singing was awsome. Raised the hairs on the back
of the neck.

It was so nice to see young people thoroughly enjoying themselves without the use of
alcohol or drugs!

A really great evening.

Chris is still helping me with the new website for my internet business.

New Doors

Yep we had new doors installed upstairs yesterday.

Looking good. A local man came and did it for us at a very resonable price. He did a very good job.

Chris is helping me set up the excellent new system from The Six Figure Mentors.

Stuart who is the brains behind all this has really done an excellent job. Watch this blog for more future information.

In the meantime I'm getting a lot of interest in my cashmachinewebsite. You can download an excellent bootcamp.
