House Prices

In today's paper it says that the "experts" expect house prices to carry on falling next year.

Interestingly in the same paper it is suggested that saving for a deposit to get on the housing ownership ladder could take 17 years and that one in six people will live to be 100.

So why then do mortgage lenders still insist on the average 25 year mortgage.

Those people in their 20's now will probably be working much longer than the current pension age as they are living longer so why doesn't a 40 year mortgage become common?

The would solve several problems at once.

Joke for today:- People have different opinions about things. For example my girlfriend is the most beautiful person in the world. But to my wife...Jackie Mason,

On this day:- 30th December
